Workcamps
A volunteer workcamp is a form of group volunteering mission organized around work as a tool for collective mobilization, promoting values specific to popular education. The workcamp serves as a space where participants experience engagement, co-management, collective responsibility, autonomy, and initiative—valuable tools in a young people’s development journey.
These missions typically last between two and three weeks and are structured around work, leisure, and exploration. Through sports, cultural, and outdoor activities, the workcamp offers an opportunity to discover a region in a way that differs from mass tourism. They are usually held between April and December. The association organizing and hosting the workcamp provides facilitators throughout its duration.
